From the concept to the finished work, John Hillis Sanders finds the process of making art has directed his life. This has kept his interest for over 50 years. His art is about activating space - working with a variety of materials to solve the challenge or problem. When you visit his studio, you will see two installations he is currently working on for an upcoming solo exhibition. He will be on-site along with my friend and fellow artist, Nick Kincaid. He looks forward to speaking with you.

John's studio is around the corner from and showing at the same time as the Co-Op Gallery and Studio where Katie Stubblefield, Jennifer Gunlock & Hilary Norcliffe will show Timber/Timbre. His studio will be open on October 7th, 2017 from 5pm to 10pm.
